- Jack White's band The Dead Weather have announced their Spring tour dates in advance of their new album, which could be released as early as April.  The tour begins in San Francisco on April 15 and winds up on May 2 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Jet will kick off a new round of North American touring on March 5 in Toronto. Crash Kings will open all dates. Jet will also perform on February 24 as part of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, BC.

Radiohead drummer Phil Selway has announced a solo tour of Europe to promote his as-yet-untitled debut solo album. The tour will run through Italy, Spain and Portugal in late March and early April, according to Spinner.

- Riding the success of his newest single, "Smile," Uncle Cracker has announced a new leg of his Happy Hour Tour. The dates begin on March 11 in Flint, MI and wrap up in Lynchburg, VA.  He has also been added to the list of twenty-two scheduled bands to perform at this year's 17th annual 'Le festival De Mardi Gras' festival in Lafayette Cajun Field. The 5 day event from Friday, February 12-16 at the home bank soundstage will feature great live music, carnival rides, Cajun foods and entertainment for the whole family.

Modest Mouse, LCD Soundsystem and the reunited Pavement will headline this summer's Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago from July 16-18 in Union Park. Modest Mouse will headline the first night, with LCD Soundsystem on Saturday and Pavement on Sunday. The rest of the lineup is due to announced any day.

Slash announced on his blog this week that Alter Bridge's Myles Kennedy will sing lead on the guitarist's upcoming tour. Kennedy sings on a track on Slash's impending solo release, simply called Slash, and due out in April.
