Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has been given a clean bill of health by his doctors, and the band will return to the road with a show next Wednesday, January 20 in Tallahassee, FL.

- A new live acoustic album from Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds is on the way. The two-CD set, Live In Las Vegas, will be released on February 9 and was recorded at Planet Hollywood in Vegas on December 12. The two-disc collection features the pair's first-ever live acoustic interpretations of tracks from Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, plus a diverse selection of songs from previous Dave Matthews Band albums and material from each artist's solo career.

- Simon and Garfunkel have been added to the lineup for this year's New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, taking the stage on April 24.  As of now, it is the duo's only scheduled appearance this year.  The Jazz Fest lineup already includes Pearl Jam, Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison, The Neville Brothers, Lionel Richie, the Allman Brothers Band and Anita Baker. The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival takes place the weekends of April 23-25 and April 29-May 2 at the Fair Grounds Race Course. 

- After a serious of cancellations and postponements due to exhaustion and dehydration, Lady Gaga taped an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, which aired Friday, where the singer announced that "all of the money that I make in ticket sales and merchandise" from her January 24 show in New York City will go to Haiti relief. Additionally, all proceeds from merchandise sold on her website that day will also go to Haiti.
