- Jay-Z has canceled the last three dates of his 2009 tour due "unforeseen circumstances." The tour had been scheduled to end on November 22. His next North American tour, the 2010 BP3 Tour, begins on February 20 in Ft. Lauderdale.
- Bruce Springsteen’s final show of his 2009 tour on November 22 in Buffalo will include a charity meet & greet. The meet & greet session will benefit The Kristen Ann Carr Fund, which provides grants for cancer research, and the Musicians on Call Organization, which brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. Fans can bid at charitybuzz.com for a chance to snag four tickets in the first five rows of the concert, E-Street Lounge passes and admission to the sound check.
- Todd Rundgren will be performing one of his classic albums, 1973's A Wizard, A True Star, start-to-finish in concert. Recently Devo and Bruce Springsteen have been performing their classic albums in concert.

December 2nd in Sacramento at the Crest Theatre
December 4th in Los Angeles at the Orpheum Theatre
December 5th in Ventura at the Majestic Theatre.

- The Who have reportedly agreed to play halftime at Superbowl XLIV on February 7 in Miami. An official announcement is expected on Thanksgiving Day.
- Slayer and Megadeth have announced that they will be touring in 2010 with the American Carnage Tour. This is the first time the bands have toured together since 1991. 26 dates have been announced, with the start being January 18 in Seatle.
